Melissa Peralta

She owns Suddenly Simple Events, which is now located in Marshfield, but began and blossomed in Scituate.

She may be better known around town as "The Glitter Bomber" after receiving viral news coverage for her "glitterante justice" against package thieves last Christmas.

She lives right in Scituate Harbor and often watches the parade and other Harbor festivities from her kitchen window.

She is very excited to be on board for the "Mayoral election season"!

Craig Valdez

Craig has been a Scituate homeowner for several years and is a real estate broker for Commonwealth Realty for the past 10 years. He is the owner of a non prophit called Commonwealth Community Center for the past 10 years and distributes 60 boxes each week to food pantries, homeless shelters and veterans centers.

The Mayor's Race runs from Feb. 15th to Mar. 14th.

Mayor candidates are Awesome people that put their name on the line to help raise money to fund the parade.       They have fund raising events to bring in money for their bid to become the Honorary Mayor of Scituate for the year.

Every dollar raised is a vote, the one getting the most votes wins and rides in the Parade as the Mayor. All candidates may ride in the parade. Each candidate will be matched with a former mayor to help in the fund raising activities.
